One of the guys on my maintenance staff got a call today. He was on another line, so I took it. I was going to have them call back, until the sobbing person on the other end(his wife) said "emergency". I cut his other call short and handed him the phone. After a few seconds, he begins sobbing. I left to let him gain his composure. Poor guy! His cousin along with the cousin's 7 year old, were hit by a drunk driver early this morning, and the youngster is gone. His cousin is in unknown condition, in a Toledo area hospital.

Nothing I could say, or do.[V]



I offered him my prayers.
