    ...At the stores "peak" he states he had around 1,600 guns in stock...30% less now. I see aprox. 200 guns+-...so maybe in-stock 125-140 guns now? Why? In NY State none the less! Maybe the "health" he refers to is the health of his bank account, or his nerves from dealing with NY's gun laws.

    ...Buying an exsisting business is SO risky. One needs a battery of the right CPA's, financial advisors...and a lotta luck Ive found. Irregardless of it's a gun store, tire store, or snow cone stand, there is a ton of income that can be hid (just a fact, and the $$$ can be substantial); and a lot of times there IS a second set of books...so, first, I wonder if the guy has them and second, is he willing to show them?

    ...Be nice to own a busy gun shop, in a gun FRIENDLY state....ahhh, the commaraderie, the morning cups of coffee w/the guys, the hunting/shooting stories, all true of course...[:D]

    ...Damn Henry!! That's a very nice Win you have up on the block!! I LIKE that! I have no use for it, but then I have no problem with surrounding myself with guns "I don't really have a use for" too..the "use" is the great pleasure derived from just having them...[:D]

    ...I wouldn't chop the barrel, but I would have a master blue put on it and redo the stock...it would be a beautiful new/old Win! [:D]

    ...Crap, if I had the money I'd hit the BN on this puppy (then I'd outbid anyone to win yours!)....I offered to trade a kidney,...a lung...a left nad,...for this Colt (check out the Birdhead grip!), I LOVE this gun!..right up my alley...it makes "mr happy" twinge a little it excites me so much, been having some really erotic dreams about this Colt ever since I saw it...[:0][8D]

    Oh yea, I bought a gun from the guy selling the gun shop about a month ago. He closed his shop for a whole week between Chistmas and new years. Took him a while to ship it.

    ...Yeah BigT...I saw/know the name [:D] He's a very dear friend of mine [^] WE do not allow politics to get in the way of true friendship, lifes way too short. I'd do anything for the man.

    I was in that shop two Saturdays ago. It's actually a very nice store but tucked in the backend of a small shopping center not facing the road and very easy to miss unless you're looking for it. He has tons of ammo & holsters but not that much of a selection of guns, probably 100 in stock at best. There were only two or three customers milling around checking out the ammo sale but not very encouraging for a Saturday. The owner is an elderly gentleman with a bum leg so I'm sure his story is legit. Besides having to tolerate New York's anti-gun regulations, he's located within the Albany city limits where ALL "Assault weapons" are banned, even at gun shows. I'm sure that has hurt his business considerably because buyers can just go to nearby Schenectady and buy those dreaded "Black guns".
