High Standard 1911's

Does anyone know anything about these? A friend ask me what I thought of them and I told him I hadnt heard of them. After doing a little searching I found that Lipsey's sale these guns. They sale them but I wonder who actually makes them and if there a descent gun?

  Everybody says there junk, but I have shot mine about 400 hundred times with no problem, Phillipino made[B)] no resale at this time...nambu
