Bluing kits

Hey y'all,

for touch up work, do any of you have experience with those cheap bluing kits you find at gun shops, etc? Or, is it a waste of money and just better to get a gunsmith or bluer to do the work? I'd hate to make a few firearm look like polka dots.

  I use G96 bluing paste, it does a great job for touch up.

  I use a product from Brownells called Oxpho-Blue. It's professional grade, with professional results.
