    Dad and I raced for about 6 years on dirt. I raced in about every class except late models. It is more addictive than dope. I built 6 different cars from the ground up. It gets expensive fast. Didn't realize how much time and money it took til I quit. I dont even go to our local track anymore in fear of wanting to race again. Kinda like a recovering alcholic going to a bar just for dancing. LOL When we were running UMP modifieds, it cost us about $800 a week on average to keep two cars going. One season of that and dad quit and I dropped to street stock. I wish you the best of luck and my only advice to you is: "To finish first, you must first finish". Out of my 120+ starts, I only had 5 DNF's that were not wreck related. I wont get into the wrecks. Have fun and stay safe. Nice looking vintage.

    '07 was my last year behind the wheel. The car in my sig has been sold. I'm just an owner/spectator from now on.[8D]

    Jackson speedway. 1/5 mile paved oval. These cars run it in just over 13 seconds.
