    Hi to all who have written to me. It does appear that the stock is on upside down however, I have never removed and reinstalled it. I purchased the gun new from Buds Gun Shop in Dec '05 for more than I am asking because I put about four boxes of ammo through it. I called Henry Repeating Arms and they inform me that all I need to do is remove one screw, rotate the stock and reinstall the screw, guess what I will be doing later this evening. Again, I have never taken the gun down all the way for any reason but have been diligent in cleaning immediatly after each use. All of my guns are stored in a safe w/ dehumidifier after protecting all blued steel prior to putting away. Thanx for the heads up and good shooting, Jim

    What the flock? Can any of you genuinely say that if this gun were yours, you could have possibly not noticed this?

    Something is rotten in the State of Denmark. Does the seller actually have the gun in his possession or is he what I call a "hip-pocket broker"? That's a guy who sells something he doesn't actually have, then buys it and takes profit off the sale. No inventory and no investment. Picture courtesy of the Internet.

    It's obvious that its not the proper stock. its not assembled upside down look at the reliefe for the lever-action thats the proper configuration. the stock is on another gun someplace looking just as stupid.
    Imagine trying to hold the to your shoulder to fire it (long neck is right). I wonder how that got out of the gun shop.
    If it was my shop therd be som splainin todo.
