Cloned Meat.......?
I dont know about you, but I cant wait to wrap my lips around a cloned pepper incrusted Filet Mignon.

+1 if that where the case, but i think cloning is even more tedious than breeding, and there doing it for "higher quality" than quantity, i can't see any discounts coming out of it, you cant touch a decent cut of meat around here for less than 10 bucks a pound, hell i'm ready to sneak into a pasture and kill me a cow, and carry out all i can0 -

I actually did a really big research project on this last year. The plan is to simply clone the best of the best in a herd and then have the clones breed and then use those animals for meat. The clones themselves are way too expensive to be butchered. It's really just an advanced form of breeding, so I really don't have any problem with it. 0 -

Nearly all the fruits and nuts you buy in the grocery store come from cloned trees. For example, the mutation that gave rise to the Red Delicious apple happened only once. All trees that bear those apples are geneticall identical to the original tree. In fact, since grafting is a form of asexual reproduction, it's not much of an exaggeration to say that all Red Delicious trees (except for their rootstocks) are actually parts of the original tree.
I can't imagine that the meat of animals bred from cloned parents would be any more unwholesome than apples, peaches, or walnuts from grafted trees.0 -
