Just got back from hunting with a nice grouse in the bag he is cooking right now with some taters, carrots, onion, and some garlic. Should be ready in an hour

  Sounds good!
  I killed a lot of grouse up in British Columbia. We skinned the bird and put it in a pot with a cup of brown rice and boiled for 45 minutes, damn, that was good. All dark meat.
  I wonder if it is the same bird?

  would have liked to get some P chickens this fall but they are so wild that you would be lucky to get within a 1/4 mile of them.
