SGN and the Remington 7615
I am not a fan of a +$700 pump .223 that takes an AR magazine. I think it's stupid. I hope the new owners have fired everyone evolved in this project. SGN has an article in the new issue about this rifle. Yeah, I know. You're thinking who buys SGN for its articles.
I will the entire article objectively, but a couple bold quotes jumped out at me.
"It is simple, dependable, and accurate, and it was designed for patrol personnel from the beginning."
"Training is simplified if both rifle and shotguns are pumps."
Just how stupid simple are these LEO's?
Oh yeah, it also fits in the current shotgun racks already mounted in many patrol cars. Again, how simple are these LEO's that can't properly store another rifle?
The article says nothing about accuracy. Makes me wonder if it is any better or worse than the Mini-14.
