Price not being a factor...

If you guys could buy ANY AR-15 (M4), and money was not a consideration, which one would it be? I guess I'm asking is, in yall's opinion, who makes the BEST AR-15 available to the public?

    My uneducated guess would be Colt.

    I don't know about the best money can buy but I've been really happy with my Rock River AR Entry Tactical. A good friend bought a new Colt and had problems out of the box and wasn't happy with Colt's customer service.

    I have several from several different brands. My favorite are Bushmaster, RRA. I have DPMS stuff that I built and they are very cost effective.

    If you wanted to go real crazy POF, Stoner, HK come to mind

    I would just like to have an original Costa Mesa Armalite made before Colt bought the rights. Most any on the market now will do what they're supposed to do, but the Armalite would be a real piece of history! [:D]

    I figured that the Colt, being the originator, and H&K, were probably two of the best, but I would probably throw the Les Baer into the mix.

    Plus one on the Wilson. I love the AR. I have a Colt, it shoots good, but I think Stag makes a better one. I also think DSA isn't bad.

    I would say Wilson, Les Baer, or Cobb Manufacturing.

    I will also put a plug in for our very own AZEX, just cuz I like the look of the trigger-guard on his lowers.

    I thought Wilson only modified existing AR's, not make thier own? And doesn't Stag make the S&W?

    I recently did it, RRA Varmint 20" stainless barrel. Own several others, but really liked this one. Topped it off with a Loopy 4.5-14x50
