Darvocet is working, but

Darvocet is working fairly well for the pain, but it makes me sleepy and on edge cranky. It also seems to be hard on my stomach.

Oh well, at least it's tolerable!

    Danny, eat a bite or drink some milk before you take one. I take Darvocet for back and leg pain. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not.

    The Darvocet made me feel badly as well, real grouchy.
    That is why I still have a nearly full bottle that is 6 months old.
    Vicodin worked a lot better for me.
    If you complain to the doc he will write you a new scrip for Vicodin.

    Or you may go for the Gold Standard, Percocet. It is harder to get a scrip for Percocet.
    When I needed a refill for Vicodin, the doc would call it in to the pharmacy.
    When I needed a refill for Percocet, I had to go down to the doc's office and get the scrip, and take it in hand to the drug store.
    Percocet is stronger and really knocked out the pain.

    Wait till it's been about a week between craps!! I have been taking Oxycodone for about a year and have learned to eat PLENTY of fruit and fiber.[;)]

    percocet dont seem to help me very much. when i got out of the hospital with my knee replacement i was taking two percocet every 4 hours, sometimes with a drink of hard stuff

    Definatly do not take on an empty stomach. Glass of milk worked best for me. Hope you're better soon.[;)]
