Best lunch ever?

What's your best ever midday meal experience?
Cubslover's post about smoked salmon reminded me of the best lunch I ever ate.
I dropped in unexpectedly at a friend's about 11am. He's standing at the stove with a spatula in his hand:
Hey Chuck-
Hey-
Whatcha cookin'?
Fryin' a rabbit
What's in that pan?
Black eyed peas
Those instant mashed potatoes?
Nope
You gonna make gravy?
Yep..........(long pause)............You want some?
Well.......OK [:D]

    Got back into Sydney from the Northern Territory and I was starving and tired. Walked half a block to a little Thai hole in the wall I had previously passed as looking a little too native, but I was tired and hungry and just wanted some food.

    Best Pad Thai I have ever eaten! Went back for more the next day.[^]

    Just had some brunschweiger (sp?} and crackers with thinly sliced onions and hot sauce on top. They were pretty good! Now if the wife wasn't home with the flu, I could go for a nooner! [:D]
