Vehicle Search On Auctions

Just for grins, I searched through vehicles on Gunbroker. Not many are there, but lots of parts and accessories.

Is it my imagination, or are the vehicle owners overly optimistic about their vehicles' values?

    No more than the ones listing guns! You've heard me say on more than one occasion that many list at MSRP + shipping. Many that I know don't even look through here anymore.

    Start charging to list whether something sells or not and that will stop.

    I agree to charge a listing fee with one free relist if your item doesn't sell. After that, you're paying listing fees again. That will curtail all of the "free advertising" many sellers use to clog up the listings. I've seen the same guns listed for months and even years since it costs the seller nothing unless it sells.

    Nunn - if you are really looking for a car I'd be happy to post one. Say, a nice 1984 Porsche 911 with the factory turbo look on it? Only 421 made in '84, just over 1000 made total...
