    Sent in for a C&R on Jan 20, 06 and got it back on Feb 6, 06... Suprised at the turnaround... is this typical with the C&R License from ATF???

    I need a little help. I have a C&R license. What exactly as far as firearms can I purchase and have mailed to me at home. The way I understand it a weapon has to be 100 years old. Is this correct. Thanks. Sam.

    I recen6tly bought a model 1888 military rifle and paid the guy via credit card and faxed a signed copy of my C&R. I contacted him about the shipment of my rifle and he said he was having trouble with the ATF in not calling him back on his checking the validity of my license. He was paid ten days ago and got the license at the same time. He has still not shipped the rifle and is blaming the ATF for the delay. I have bought several old military rifles and parts that require the license but this is the first time I have heard of anyone needing ATF approval on a valid license. Let me know your thoughts.

    So how long does it take to arrive after they withdraw the fee? I know the real answer, whenever they feel like it, but I'm watching for the mailman every day like a kid waiting for Santa.

    I applied for my C&R a loooooooong time ago and still dont have it. Does anyone have a # I can call. The one on the application is no longer in service[}:)]

    I am sitting here looking at the two forms the BATF sent out for me to fill out for my C&R. One is white: "Certification of Compliance with 18 USC 922(g)(5)(B)". Question #2 is, "NAME of person CERTIFYING to citizenship:" Stupid question #1 from me - Do I just get someone to attest to my citizenship and sign the form there?

    Stupid question #2. On the green form (the actual application), at the bottom there is a place for the name and address of the CLEO. Does he need to sign, or do I just fill it in and deliver him a copy when it is all mailed?

    i have lost the link to the ATF site where the C&R iscence portion is. could someone please send me the link to the site so i can ask for a copy of the liscence forms. Thanks!

    The ATF website is www.atf.gov but you can't get FFL license applications there. You need to get them from your local ATF office or call the ATF Licensing Center at 1-866-662-2750 and they'll send you a package.
