    id love to be on the jury and find him not guilty![^]to hell with these scum who think they have the right to hurt kids!...there are certain crimes that are that bad that the people who commit them should loose all the rights and entitelments to be treated as human beings![:(!]

    Assuming the story is true (and who says it is?) I think that pretty much defines "temporary insanity".

    This sort of thing has no deterrent on child molestors, though.

    They're wired to want to have sex with children, and you can't beat that urge out of them any more than you can beat the urge to eat meat out of a lion, or (heck) the urge to have sex with women out of most men.

    beantownshootah, i agree, there is no such thing as a deterent to stop people commiting any crime, if people thought they were going to get caught, they wouldnt commit the crime in the first place...deterent isnt the answer to stopping crime...punishment when they are caught is....very, very long prison sentences is the answer...that, and no segregated prison cells for child molesters!...let them take their chances in with the rest of the prisoners!..

    I'm sure they did some forensics on the boy to see if there was penetration or semen on him, like a rape kit
