Special note, dkb2003 is disqualified by rule No. 1 because he is no longer "in good standing" due to his locked post.

Borrowed the neighbors camera because I wanted the fighting to end. I really wasn't ready, but here it is. I reserve the right to update the rules and the giveaway because I was rushed into the posting.

If you don't like any of the rules, don't complain, just don't enter.

Be sure your email address in your profile is current because this is how I will contact the winner. If you fail to reply in 5 days, another winner will be selected.

The Rules

1 You must be a member in good standing on or before 12/31/07. If you get banned or your account is locked at the time of the drawing, you are out, so be nice. I will check!

2 You must be over the age of 21 and legal to own and possess a handgun in your state. Your FFL will check.

3 You must be willing to send me a signed copy of a current FFL which is where the gun will be shipped for you to claim. You are responsible for any charges at your end, and there will be a receiving charge, so check with your FFL before you enter. I will verify the FFL through the ATF, and I will ship the pistol from an FFL in my state. You can find FFL's who are willing to receive guns over on the Gunbroker website at this link, http://www.gunbroker.com/User/DealerNetwork.asp

4 You must verify that this pistol is on your states approved list and it is legal to own and possess in your state. Your FFL will check before he delivers it to you.

5 You must be able to clear a NICS background check. Your receiving FFL will have to do one by law, so be sure you can pass.

6 You must promise that you will not resell this gun, but will pass it on free of charge to someone else if you decide you no longer want it, and that the someone you pass it on to will be legal to own and possess a handgun in their state. They must also agree to do the same when they are through with it. This can be family to family or person to person, but it should be passed on free of charge from this point onward. This, of course, is on the honor system.

7 I will end the entry when I'm ready because I haven't decided how long to let it run.

8 You must be located in the United Sates of America. No foreign shipments of this firearm.

9 Once you are contacted as the winner, you must reply to me within 5 days via email ( deheffley@verizon.net ) or an alternate winner will be choosen. Be sure your email address in your profile is up to date because this is how I will contact you.

10 More than one entry will result in disqualification and zero entries. Bribing emails will result in the same disqualification. I was shocked! This is a gift not a sale to the highest briber!

Exceptions to The Rules

If you are under the age of 21, but you have a parent who is a member here and qualifies by the above rules, they may enter twice. Once for them, and once under their user I.D., but stating that they are entering in your name and are agreeing to hold the pistol in their possession until you are of legal age. This shall be known as the Jacob exception. The under 21 person must be a member here as of 12/31/07 and qualify in all rules except the age issue. You can still enter yourself for the chance to win and hold the gun for them, but there will not be two entries in the giveaway unless they already were a member.

The Pistol

This is a CZ-70 blued steel, double action, semi-auto pistol. It is in very good condition with 98% of the original bluing. It is 7.65 cal. (.32 ACP) and comes with two magazines. The double action pull on this pistol is very heavy (one reason Sandy selected it to go) but the single action pull in nice. It is about the size of a Walther PPK. I think these guns are currently selling for around $200 in this condition. It is a good shooter and is accurate. I bought two of these, and I'm keeping the other. It's a great glove box gun.
