Booze Cabinet Pics for Mateo

Well here they are (only fell down three times taking the pics). I've sure put a lot of work into this thing![B)] Still have to add the mirrors behind the booze bottles and the hanging glasses.

She's made of walnut by the way. Hope you enjoy![8D]

    Everybody who visits says that[:D]. My goodness I'd never do it again for no amount of $$$ (sorry Locust)[:I]. What a PIA it was to do. We made our own plans from a picture in the local paper. Pretty much a "hey that's sweet...let's build it". Took us two years to do it on our free time. You can supposedly buy one here (http://www3.marthastewart.com/page.jhtml;jsessionid=EYZ4BTVU4UKZ1WCKUVSSHPWYJKSS0JO0?type=signature-product&id=product20956&site=) but I'm told they run about $5,000 smackers.[:0]

    I can only imagine what work that was. I love the detail that went into it.

    We picked up an antique cabinet to keep things "accountable" here at the house. We haven't had any problems with the liquor....yet. We just wanted to head off any trouble that MIGHT happen early.

    They are fun......until they don't hug you in public any more. Luckily I still get a few hugs from the younger ones. I hear tale that I have about 6 or 7 years before the teenager will "normal out."

    Funny how once you turn them out to pasture they think differently.[;)] It's just growing pains...the best years are yet to come. Just keep the "dirty boys" away (like I have a lot of room to talk after my Fridge Girl/Remote Girl post)![8)][:I][:o)][:D][:D]
