I have a chance to take courses regarding Web Page design and the class can be for Dream Weaver or Front Page.
Which one is better for making and maintaining a Web Page?

  Front Page can do some very fancy stuff, as long as it is served from a Microsoft server and viewed with a Microsoft browser.
  
  Dreamweaver does very fancy stuff, and creates code that is mostly platform agnostic.
  
  And no matter what, learn the underlying code... I do all my coding in a text editor, and while it creates very basic pages, I'm not stuck to a tool for editing it.

  Well... Both are good for designing a site....But but the big difference is when it comes to getting it on line...
  Most Host's incorporate Frontpage extentions that make it a breeze to get online...
  I vote Frontpage...
