Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, Aliens, Ghosts, etc.
Is it just me, or does anyone else have a hard time changing the channel when shows that deal with such topics are on TV? Seriously, I'll get hooked into watching some "Hunting for the Loch Ness Monster" show even though I know that at the end of the show there will be no new developments in proving its existance. On top of that, I'll watch a show with footage of blurry objects in the sky until the end as well. If these things are indeed real, and they are found, I think the discoveries would be plastered all over the news within minutes, and yet, none of them have been proven, and I still watch the shows until the end every time. I don't watch much TV either, but when I'm channel surfing for something good to watch and I come across shows like this, I'm hooked. Anyone else get roped into shows that deal with such things? [V]

Lots of ghost shows all of a sudden. I'm not into it. I've stopped for a couple minutes, but they seem kinda Jerry Springer-ish. 0 -

I watch those darn documentaries. Last week I watched one that depicted a guy shooting at a bigfeet with a 9mm. Hmm, 9mm...500 pound animal. Might not be a real good idea. 0 -
The best part is when you start talking to respected friends, family etc. and they insist that bigfoot is all over North America...Hope I don't offend anyone, but I think it is lunacy to think these things exist. 0 -
There is some DNA evidence from hair that is similar to a human and chimp but different from either that SOMETHING exists- bigfoot? If it does, there must be darned few of them and they must be darned smart to avoid 6 billion humans. I'd give it, oh, 45% chance of existing.
Aliens- I'm sure they exist, looking at the number of stars out there- but if they have the ability to travel interstellarly, why bother to come here? We'd be like cave men. 98% chance of existing, but not of coming to earth.
Loch Ness? I dunno. Could be but doubtful. I don't doubt there are unknown beasties out there but a plesiosaur? I doubt it. I'd give this one about 5% chance of being true.0 -

I like to keep an open mind, not that I am a zoologist or an expert anything. But after seeing documentary's on filmed wild life and how elusive some animal species can be (primates included) who knows?0 -
I cannot think of a creature over 20 lbs that I , or a local expert, would have trouble finding sign of whether it be scat, dens, markings...or what have you. I would have to give The Hairy Beast 20%.
Aliens: I'll go with 98% if any form of life counts.

I almost forgot...What about the elusive Black Panther that someone you know has a story about. I know at least half a dozen people that have claimed to see one near WV/PA. % ? 0 -
Rare birds? 0 -
I watch them too. They are interesting to watch even though you know the outcome. 0 -
Bears in my area of central CA have been non-existent for 100+ years but yet DFG (Dept. Fish And Game) Have validated Very rare activity of one or even two.
Guess the point I am trying to make is we don't know everything0 -

With the VAST amount of undeveloped territory there is out west, I do not find it too difficult to believe a highly intelligent mammal could stay hidden from mankind if it was so inclined to do so.0 -

You ever notice that when you watch these shows and they are interviewing the eye witness, He or she is always white. You never see a black, Mexican or any other race witness such things only white people. 0 -
