wild miserable West Virginia

its raining here and as usual we are in imminent danger of flooding. they have logged this place to death and the creek is blocked with so much trash it's pathetic. my house is unsellable so i'm stuck for now. other than that everything is great. [:D]

    If it makes you feel any better, most Americans' homes are unsellable. We've got about ten in my townhome community that have been on the market for close to a year now.

    But, I don't wish a flood upon anyone. I suggest that you make sure nothing valuable is on the floor.

    Hey Gotteskreiger I know what you mean I've got a place on the Muskingdom River in south east ohio.This time of the year the water get's pretty high a lot of flooding going on. Glad my place sit's up high on a hill.

    I feel for you. Helped during the lat two floods that tore through the south western part of the state.

    Was thinking this morning that it feels as if it started raining in early December and has not gone more than three days without rain. This weather reminds me of when I was at Ft. Lewis WA.

    Hope the guyandotte river don't get too high. I have a daughter and sister that live close to Logan.

    Just crossed into Marietta from Parkersburg this morning. The ohio river is high and hopefully will spare Marietta (the oldest city in Ohio) this time.

    Sorry to hear you're about waterlogged. The stuff here is still in frozen form, but it will melt and then we'll have the same problems; about the end of April.

    Im in Wood co. and the sun just came out if thats any help. I would expect rivers to start cresting tomorrow night, fingers crossed for lots of folks.
