Thought I screwed up the neighbors camera!

I borrowed the neighbors camera to take pictures of the pistol I wanted to giveaway because Josh hasn't brought mine home yet. I took the pictures, downloaded them to the computer, then made the post.

Before I took it back home, I decided to delete my pictures from their camera. It wouldn't come on! I tried it twice, and All I got was a light come on for about a second, then nothing.

I thought, oh crap! Trying to do something nice, and it's going to cost me the price of a new camera.

I finally decided to check the batteries. I installed two new AA batteries, and it worked like a charm again!

Whew! That was close!

    I have the worst luck with digital cameras. Wife has one, 12 year old daughter has one, years with no problem.
    Me, a camera for my use will just flat die for no reason. Bought one for my parents, it lost the flash first than the screen. They bought a new one, freakin' perfect.
    ...must be the freakin' aliens !

    I hate to borrow any thing. If i do i know i'm going to spend more then its worth. same things goes for lending stuff out. It just never works out for me.
