What member/s would make good moderator

In the advent we lost our present moderators, who would you like to see them replaced by? I sort of lean to Dano and Rosie. They seem to have experience and don't take too much stuff. Bobski might be OK but he don't seem to like nekkid girls.
Since this is such a highly paid position, Who would you like to see as the main poofer? Tom

    This subject has been beat to death.....I don't believe there has been any requests for a new moderator by those who actually would make the decision. Besides who would want to be put in charge of this Mad House anyway.

    I would make one of the best mods ever, very intelligent, worldly traveled, able to grasp the big picture, and able to articulate thoughts easily. Patriotic almost to a fault, but not blinded to excesses taken by my country.
    Not bound to religious dogma or intolerence and believe everyone has the right to express themselves as brilliantly or as ineptly as their ability allows without poofing them.

    Unfortunately, I have a full life outside of the internet and am unable to accept such a position.

    Fatstrat, you have no idea how many times I have used that quote in my life. That is the best. That was my fathers's all time favorite movie and I must have watched it with him over 100 times. I believe I can recite the whole film. You made my day.

    i dont think anyone whos opinion matters is looking for a regime change, so i guess we'll just have to accept what we've got or leave.

    anytime ive run afoul of the mods here, ive earned it. i dont complain. i dont take this stuff too seriously. some of you guys really need a hobby that doesnt revolve around whats going on a friggin internet message board. i think the mods we have do their job to the best of their ability. it is truly a thankless job. you couldnt pay me enough to deal with you guys' bs every day.

    anyway, in this hypothetical situation answering a question nobody asked, i nominate tccox, since thats what he wanted out of this thread.

    Hard to say. There are many pesonalities I enjoy conversing and disputing with, and many whose opinions I respect. But I can't help but think "Absolute power corrupts absolutely." It would need to be someone who would not likely take a big head-trip over it, and it is difficult to say exactly who that might be.
