    I am a republican and I will NOT vote for Mcain. I cant believe I am actually going to say this but....I have considered voting for Ron Paul in the last 2 weeks.

    Let me predict how this is going to go down.

    In the end there will be a choice between the lesser of three evils.

    Huckabee and McCain are Rhinos. They would be running as Democrats if Hillary and Obomba weren't so far left. The closest thing there is to a true conservative Republican is Romney. With all his faults he will represent our best choice.

    If the Conservatives are going to remain in power they will have to back Mitt. And he is the lesser of all the evils, and can beat Hillary.

    Alpine please do not refer to Romney as a Republican,when it comes down to our 2nd amendment he is as bad as the Brady bunch. he never vetoed a gun control bill in his time as Massachuchets Gov, signed everyone of the bills.

    It is gonna happen, like when you see a sign that says "WET PAINT" and you know you should not touch it but you do and then you get it all over you, then you have to wear it off. Nothing will touch it, not even turpentine. Don

    Which is to say that it comes down to which is the bigger problem, the Iraq War or the Third World Invasion. Given that mum is the word on the Third WOrld Invasion, as it stands at this moment, means the democrats have the edge, and will likely continue to have it until immigration issues are taken seriously - a subject that neither sides wants discussed, especially in detail.

    I saw Willard Mitt Romney on Leno, i have to give it to him, he sounds intelligent when he speaks. Not saying that people with a Southern drawl dont sound intelligent, but Mitt sounds one million times better than our current ass(president). I dont know how many times ive heard Bush mis-pronounce the word nuclear, (he says newk-u-ler. Im no english scholar, but come on, i have a grasp of the english language.

    Edit: I went off on a tangent above, and forget to mention my original thoughts, one of my state senators, Mel Martinez, a cuban immigrant, who supports open borders, has endorsed McCain.

    Alpine, you are literally say the best choice is the guy who signed the permanent assault weapons ban in Mass. No thanks, I'll write in Paul or stay home. I'm a registered repub. I would rather have anybody than backstabbing McCain RINO. He repulses me more than Hillary.

    I would ask what country YOUR are living in...but more to the point...what REALITY are you living in ? CERTAINLY not the REALITY of border agents going to jail for 12 years for doing their jobs... CERTAINLY not the country with 30 million barbarians and a million a year swarming across the borders..CERTAINLY not a country that has hundreds of hospitals closed due to lack of funds from barbarians crashing the emergency centers...

    Again with the imaginary differences between D and R. It's going to be too late to research this stuff for yourselves and stop it by the time you figure it out. This is the last election where you will have a chance to clean up this trainwreck. That's it. No more. If you refuse to see it, you deserve it. D&R, all the same.
