MY Whining ??

While the subject of politics is often debated here in General...and moved over to Politics..rarely do I indulge in the argument about where a post is placed.

Perhaps the term should have been "The General Whine from many people"...instead of directing the thrust directly at me would have been more appropriate ?

As is often stated..a topic moved off general is dead. Visited by precious few, and read by a mere handful.
Great events that are manipulated by a culture of corruption from a few men in this country are thusly sidetracked into oblivion,herein.

The other thread, while mentioning two parties, contains the elements for the destruction of America..because it addresses the abysmal ignorance of the American citizen.

Please feel quite free to wipe this thread, if you so chose..I did not wish the other one to go away.

The other thread has 200 reads in 6 hours...more then ALL the reads in politics for the next day or two. SOME of those people will be jarred enough to actually THINK about the miserable situation we as a nation are in, today.

    Kinda sad that the majority wouldn't know what is going on if they don't see it in the mainstream.
    Even worse that the mainstream media can't be trusted to report the truth.

    I saw no whining Highball. Only a man attempting to present strongly held beliefs and attempting to keep a critical discussion going.

    Would that others have a similar resolve.

    And why is a post that has been moved to the politics post concidered dead. If I may be so bold as to answer, the majority of people coming to this site come to the general forum where things great and small are discussed in a way that can be serious, satirical, grime and/or, hilarious.
    If you venture to the political forum things are not dealt with in the same manner as they are here.I for one rarely go to the other forums because while I enjoy a good argument as well as the next guy, I have no desire to be scewered by the tongue of those using the forum.
    I see nothing wrong with having a discussion of politics on this forum as long as it is held in a gentelmenly manner. Maybe we should have a vote or try to reach a genersl consenus as to when a post shall be poofed.

    This is not a democracy. This is a privately owned site so there will be no voting. Sorry. The owner wants the Politics Forum to continue and political posts put there. Sorry. That's the way it is so stop arguing. It's done.
    I think that even the moderators have a problem poofing some of the generic political discourses that appear on this page.
    so I say, join in voice your opinions here on where do the more general things go.

    Well, I missed it over here. Guess I'll go over there. Highball, your first post/assessment is spot on.

    Wonder why so many are afraid to venture over there and make their opinion known??? Is it the pc/thin skin thing? More opinions/ideas is so much better.
