I had my new cell phone with a camera handy this time.
1 peacock as the lead bird and at least 20 wild turkeys in tow single file. There was more on the hill not in the photo.

Ah, reminds me of a sight I witnessed near Throckmorton, TX a few years back. A buddy and I watched dozens, if not SCORES of wild turkeys flying up to roost in cottonwood trees along a livestock pond. The trees, some 30-50 feet high, were drooping with the big birds by nightfall. Such a sight I'd never seen--nor have I since. 0 -

Iv seen the same around here [SE Wisconsin]...some of the farmers raise peacocks [dont know why]...and some wander off and take up with the local turkey populations.. 0 -

I use alot of Peacock harl for flies. If ya find your self in possession of a birds worth and need to get rid of the evidence just let let me know. [;)]0 -
