Ross Perot again?

I just had an awful thought:
In '92 we had a Clinton running for president and a gratuitous interloper named Ross Perot running as an independent.
Now we've got a Clinton and Ron Paul.
Please tell me it won't happen again.

  This was tossed around, 'bout a year ago. And again 'bout 11 months 2 weeks ago. And again 'bout 11 months ago. And again 'bout 10 months 2 weeks ago.......

  If that dumbaz Bloomberg gets in it will be the Democrats' Ross Perot, I hope. I think he really wants to. He's no Republican. One of the worst anti-gun midgets we have.

  It might happen, it might now. But even without the Ross Perot effect, the GOP is doomed unless it can shed its pro-Iraq War, pro-illegal immigrant, pro-spending habits and come back into the mainstream.
  
  I'm not saying the Dems are that by any stretch of the imagination, because they aren't. But they do have the benefit of not being the screw-ups in power in a time when being an incumbent is not the best thing to be politically speaking.
