If it's 4 battlepacks of cartridges and not just bullets then yes, it is a good price.0 -

I remember just two years ago I bought a 1460rd can of this stuff for $250 even. And almost a year ago I saw someone on GB trying to sell the same stuff, 1460rd can for $1200, but I think this is becaused they were confused about it being "Match".
As far as todays prices go rsr1950, that is not that bad of a deal and that south african, if it is the same stuff I purchased here a while back, the 146gr in the sealed battle packs, it is still great ammo, especially for surplus!0 -

At todays price of ammo that is a great deal.
As already said the S African is excellent ammo.
Just last year it was 20.00 a battle pack though[V]0 -
2 years ago i bought a 140 round battle pack for less than $20.00 it is imposable to find in this area now. a man i know has this ammo and said he would sell me the 4 packs for $200.00 all or none. 0 -

i haven't seen LC in a long time, i have no idea. if anyone in this area has any they'er hording it. i have one box of LC Match and no other LC. 7.62X51 has really dried up around here. 0 -
The cheapest 762x51 I have seen lately is the Australian that hit a couple months ago and it was still .40 a round. 0 -

I have 1000 LC's in storage and thats where it stays. Even bidding on once fired brass is vicious.0 -

well i went to the mans home today and bought 4 140 round battle packs all South African surplus. gave $200.00 for the lot of 560 cartridges. i know it used to be lots cheaper but it seems 7.62X51 ammo has dried up around here. there hasn't been any in about a year. this was cheaper than i could order it. 0 -
Best I've been getting lately has been 200 round packs of Privi from Wideners, just over $100 to my door. Tad more than surplus, but its new ammo and reloadable... 0 -

Not that bad of a deal. Last year the battle packs were going for $30 ea. Everything has shot up of late.0
