Weird food combinations

Who likes weird food combinations? I like to eat Fritoes and dip them into pimiento cheese spread.

    Peanut butter and sliced onion sandwich. Catsup on cottage cheese.

    mac and cheese, with ground beef and mushrooms.

    chocolate milk and coke, 50/50, makes a nice chocolate soda.

    i love a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with dill pickles on the side. bite of sandwich and a bite of pickle... yum! can't get the old man to try it though! he's missing out. the flavors go together so well!!

    sourcraut straight out of the jar...

    roman noodles, crunched up in a bowl - dry, with seasoning on top. hehe.

    raw potatoes with tony's. can't get enough of them.... i'm full before the mashed taters are done! lol.

    that's about it i guess.

    Macaroni & cheese with tuna and peas, mix well - mmmmm.


    And of course gravy with french fries - picked that up in Canada - one thing they do better than us - on fries, gravy blows away ketchup.

    Love Tuna Cassarole! We use lay's potatoe chips crunched up as the first layer, tuna layer next, cheese layer, and cream of mushroom is the last layer. add more cheese on top of entire cassarole!

    we do that in texas too.... you people are really missing out on a little thing we call the "steak finger basket" from dairy queen. [:)]

    That's how us Italians make Bruschetta.

    Try this Beth,

    Toast a dense bread, lightly brush Extra virgin olive oil on it, then rub it with the cut side of a garlic clove.

    I occasionally blend Ricotta, feta, and parmasean cheeses with a little fresh basil and parsley, add a little salt and spread it on the Bruschetta.



    When I managed a McDonald's in school, I used to eat Double cheeseburgers with Mayo and Sweet and sour sauce on them. Same on my fries.....mmmmmm.

    very good! you should try it sometime.Actually, that sounds similar to the way my wife makes it, but with lots of chipped up Spanish Olives. Great stuff!

    In the land down under, the Aussies serve hamburgers. It does not occur to them that they have no clue whatever about hamburgers. Mine came with: a fried egg, about over easy!, a slice of pineapple, a slice of "beetroot." It was disgusting. For the rest of my time there, I was forced to eat seafood, Thai and Chinese.     nice, my grandad used to grill the peanut butter and onion sandwich. i've tried it and it's pretty good. i'm also a fan of peanut butter and pickles. in general, i will mix just about any leftovers i find in my fridge.

    When I was a kid, I used to love to eat an apple right after I brushed my teeth. Something about Crest and Winesap apples. My parents just shrugged it off, as long as I brushed again after.

    I still put Miracle Whip on soda crackers for a quick, easy and potentially life-shortening snack.

    One of the basic food groups for Canadian young people is Kraft Dinner ... but when you really get tired of it and want to try something different, add some curry powder, raisins and peanuts. It tastes real good.

    Another great tasting combination is toast with a little butter, then some cottage cheese topped with a little honey!

    An asparagus and anchovies with white sauce pizza

    As a kid, I would make a peanut butter sandwich with sliced banana, raisins and mayo.
