    Pol.Psych. beat me to it. I was going to say it reminds me of a Kel-Tech.

    Nicely rounded so snag-free. That's good. Only 9.4 ounces. Excellent. Not nearly as ugly as every previously made Ruger center fire auto pistol. But does it lack sights?

    IMO the 380 is marginal at best but sometimes it's the best you can do.

    Sounds like a fun li'l plinker!
    I reload, so I can shoot .380 almost as cheap as .22lr nowadays!
    If a gun has a trigger pull you don't like; why not fix it yourself and save some money, or sell it to someone who will. You should never be afraid to jump right into any gun you own, and start learning as much as you can about them; most problems can be fixed by someone with a file, hammer, and screwdriver, knowledgeable in their use.

    yeah, I was going to say "how many stupid 'saftey features' are on this potential POS"...the P345 and its ilk are an abomination IMHO

    Check out Ruger's site. They now offer a Mini-14 with factory 20 rounders. They will probably/hopefully sell the magazines as accessories. No telling if they will bring back the 30 round mags but this is a step in the right direction.

    Now if they will just get it into Kalifornia I will buy one. It does have small sights built in & for the intended purpose that seems to be more than enough.
    The sights on the NAA autos are totally useless & Seacamp doesn't have any.

    it's about time ruger gets in on the semi-auto handgun market, i just wonder if that "external lock" is a external key that fits in that little hole on the backs-trap

    It comes with a soft case which means you have to buy a whole new container to check it with luggage when flying. Dumb.
