How to combat the cocaine smugglers..........

    stop supporting a nanny state and don't have it criminalize. Look how it stoped boose runners for prohabition they all got legit jobs in NASCAR [:o)]

    When they confiscate the stuff they should poison it & put it back in circulation. You're never going to stop the supply but you can get rid of the customers. No demand, no drugs. Remember the panic when they were spraying Paraquat on the marijuana?

    legalize it, regulate its strength, sell it in state controlled stores along with pot, tax it, it would put the cartels out of business. Not to mention all the money wasted on "the war on drugs".

    But then, what would all the unemployed prison guards, lawyers, judges, parole oficers etc do...patch potholes??

    my mother said when she was growing up in the 1920`s in a small mining town where there was no dr. or pharmasist if you wanted medicine you went to the corner shop and signed ina book and they would give you laudnum, and even cannabis..she said a lot of women used the grass for period pain..there used to be heroin in cough mixture here until sometime in the 1950`s, but the strange thing is no-one seemed to abuse it to the stage they got addicted. ...i dont know what the answer is, but i agree, get rid of the demand and the supply will dry up!..hitting the dealers big time is ok, but while there is a fortune to be made supplying it someone will always take the risk!...maybe its time to hit the users...force them into rehab, and when they finish rehab if they are caught again, big jail time...what is being done now is failing big time...time to try something else!!..even if it is all legalised it doesnt mean people are suddenly going to go out and use it...not everyone smokes or drinks do they?

    If there was no money in drugs it would take away any and all criminal activities. So make all drugs legal but then have pee test to get jobs or money from the government!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Are you talking about the C.I.A.?

    Poisoning it or selling it un-cut will only make the hospitals real busy. Unless they die on the spot but them junkies be smart or lucky.

    Jailing/rehab them is just puts more strain on my tax dollars. Since the junkies ain't got no money other than for their junk. Look at the system now with all the dopers who got sent up for their mandentory sentence for "X" amount of weight. Besides the "system" will make the cash baby sitting in this current regime but have no real effect inside or outside for the inmates. Now if there were a penal continent (not a colony) to house all the millions of riff raffs that may make a difference. Now a two chance then life on the "continent" where the gen. pop. lives out their lives like "Lords Of The Flies" with no chance or parole. Antarctica would be ideal but then we'd have to feed them and house them so it'll be like a giant prison. Now Australia the inmates can grow food and not need to be minded (after all it has a history of it being a penal colony so no big whoop). Just have a pay out order for the bounty on dead (no cash for live) escapees when they wash up in New Zealand or other South Pacific Islands.

    To prevent all crimes, the punishment must be extreme (period) and we all know what that is. Until all those do gooders (Amnesty International and other Human Rights) are removed the decline of civilization will continue without further interuptions.

    yoshmyster...we dont want or need any more of the no hopers here...we got enough of our own...how about a nice icy cold island off alaska somewhere...just drop `em off with the materials to build somewhere to live and let `em go for it..if they die, who cares? ...maybe even drop them on kodiak island...the bears wouldnt go hungry thats for sure...its actually hard to come here if you have a drug conviction...it is a colour coded thing somewhere in your passport apparently...a lot of people get put on the next plane back to where they come from if they have a crimminal conviction.
