wow! what a sight!
i was just looking out my lounge room window while i`m sitting at the computer and a southern right whale came out of the water and the noise of it splashing back down was awesome!![8D] its a big one! there seems to be a few porpoise with it too[:)]they seem to be feeding on a school of bait fish...there goes my salmon fishing, ah, who cares?...it`s worth it to see something like this.i hav`nt seen a whale this close to home for a long time...at least the japs wont get this one![xx(]

That had to be an amazing site. I have never had the pleasure of seeing a whale in the ocean ony dolphins. 0 -
Rick when we bought our boat, and got out into the ocean via the clearwater causeway, i saw maybe 10-15 dolphins. I was suprised at how dark their skin was, they looked almost black! 0 -
if i saw that out my window it would be awesome....kansas...lots of deer & turkey instead...have seen films of small boats out when whales migrate & would like to be that close once...can't visualize size close up 0 -

I Have pic's of them breaching and feeding out here in CA coast line.
during the migration. Gets a little hairy when they come up under the boat.0
