The ? no one will answer

Say I'm a veteran and I have been collecting firearms for 35 years. Thirty years ago I had a bad experience and the local constabulary took me to the State hospital to "get straightened out". Along comes H.R. 2640, digs up the records of my visit and deems that I was a "detriment to society".
Here's the question than no one wants to answer:
What happens to my gun collection while I'm trying to get my name cleared?
I know most of you, if you think about it, can probably predict the answer, were someone to give it.

    well jim..if it happened to you here, your guns would be siezed by the cops within a few hours...they would be melted down in a furnace, and you would be banned from owning guns or getting a gun licence for a minimum of 5 years!!!!!!..there is no right of appeal!!!..even if it was found that there was nothing wrong with you!!
    how can it be done??
    very easily, you see we have gun registration!!!..all they have to do is type your name and address into a computer and they know the make, model and serial number of every firearm that you LEGALLY have!!!
    in other words...you as a gun owner have no rights!!
    ..as i say to every person who is here from any other country..."welcome to the dictatorship of australia, enjoy your stay"...

    as them to hold your guns.

    It's perfectly clear what will happen. The Feds will confiscate all your firearms, bang them around, bunching them together. They will be picked through and stolen, all the really nice ones. And while you are still trying to prove that you are no threat to anyone, your guns will be put into a locked room somewhere in a basement where they will rust to death. Since the system is set up so you'll never get them back. Someone will go through and scoop them up to be incinerated.

    One might look at the question and determine that the answer is up to you, the gunowner.

    So would you allow them to take/destroy your guns, or wouldn't you?

    Well, sir, that appears to be exactly what is happening. And to think that I paid the NRA several hundred dollars to facilitate.

    Not where you THINK it's gonna happen.

    Who is looking into thirty year old medicial records?

    Patient confidialty laws require any agency or person to obtain permission, from you, in writing, to look at these records.

    Were you taken by court order?? Way I read the bill you must be adjudicated by the court as being a hazard to yourself or others..But it will come down to if you go see a shrink and he/she deems you tuti Fruity, then they will be bound to turn the record over to the collection agency..[:(]

    Plus I bet their has to be a statue of limitations- 30 years is pretty
    frigging long if your record is clean.
