Digital Camera trick

FYI-Saw this at work today. Crystal clear super close-up picture, from a cheap older Sony DSC-P52! You'll need a Jeweler's loupe, 7X-10X power, scotch tape it over the camera lens. You won't believe what a $3 investment will do for your camera. I will never proclaim to be a photographer, and some may have a better method, if so please share. [8D]

  You can also build or buy adapters for digital cameras to take pictures through spotting scope amazing the pictures you can get it is called digiscoping

  yes I have done it and it works great do a google search for digi scoping. I use it to take pictures of wildlife it is like having a 80X zoom lens.

  Digital camera as a tool-
  
  If you're having trouble with your TV's infrared remote you can use a digital still or video camera see if it's even functioning.
  
  They pick up light that's outside our eye's frequency range. Press any button on the remote and it's output should look like a little LED penlight when viewed through the camera.
  
  BTW-Kids think this is cool and it's a good way to demonstrate to them how a remote does it's thing.
