    Why 12/21/2012?

    We made it through 01/01/00, 06/06/06, and the last Leap Day without a hitch, so I'm gonna say probably not.

    Now 05/07/42 - THAT'S another matter entirely!!!!!!!!![:0][:p][;)][:D]

    At least that give everyone enough time to finish their Y-2-K supplies in the garage or basement. While it will be amusing to watch the loonies performing whatever rituals will be in style at the time, there is a real danger of some freaks who are convinced that the end is near and that they have nothing to lose will go on some rampage.

    The Mayans had pagan gods so that can't possibly be right. What self-respecting god would allow himself to be pinned down to an exact date? Because if that date comes and goes, everyone will see it for what it is, a fairy tale. Best to keep the naive in suspense with an unpublished date so the money keeps flowing.

    For some in here the "Last day" might be before that. Man has been predicting dooms day since the beginning of recorded history..

    Even Jesus was supposed to have said "There are those standing before me that will live to see the end times" Hasnt happen yet and that was over 2000 years ago..[;)]
