    Back to this guy. Is it just me, or is the news filled with depressing clips of children killing parents, parents killing children, total strangers killing innocent young people, etc.? Not to mention teachers, men of the cloth, policemen, and whomever preying on those they are supposed to be sworn to protect? Was humanity always this depraved, but the media didn't cover it? Or are we truly growing darker?

    What do you do to someone like that? I think he should be shot or hanged, and I think it should be a public event, I think anyone who commits a crime against a child should be made an example of.

    as for what the devil really looks like, bible says he was the most beautiful angel before he fell from grace.

    now, picture every death, every illness, every car accident, every jet crash, every bloated body floating in the bay, every suicide, every abortion, every murder, rape, PORN, venereal disease, child abuse, every pain, every divorce, every curse word created, every theft, lie, cheat, every ugly thing in your imagination.......guess who? THATS what he looks like. this fellow was just one of many who are victims of the evil one. no two are the same, none worse than the other. all bring death, either on this earth or after.

    and what gets me? even knowing this is from him......some of you still deny the free gift of forgiveness from it all.

    woe! to those that dont heed the call to repent from accepting the devils ways. he's a lot more dangerous than you can imagine and he's very much a part of everyones life. some see him, some dont, some ignore him. all suffer because of him, but dont need to.

    By this, doesn't Satan work on the same principle of free will that God does? What great triumph for him, if he is so powerful, to force some mere mortal's hand?
    He had choices to make in his life. Smoke the crack or not. Throw the kids over the rail or not.

    John Tyson is the DA in Mobile County (where Bayou La Batre is) right across the bay from us. He will seek the death penalty and it will be delivered. Shari and I talked about this at breakfast this morning and we both agreed that a round to the head would be fitting for this.

    I got plenty to say. I'm not speechless about this I could go on forever. The uselessness of the human race never ceases to amaze me. I live in north Alabama and would love to meet this maggot. Send him my way and save those tax payers thousands of dollars. My dogs are hungry. My God, let me at him.
    side note....those children are in a better place. My wife and I woulda took all 4 of them into our home in a second and I already got 4.

    It was asked earlier and I'll answer, IMHO: the human race has always been this depraved. We are blessed, in this country, to have enjoyed a couple centuries of by-and-large decency amongst ourselves. Notable exceptions can be cited, but overall we've had it pretty good, behavior-wise. Other nations and other times have not been so fortunate, and overall the depravity seems the norm, the good generally an exception to the rule. Neither does it seem to matter whether the people in question were barbarians or what passes for civilized -- bloodthirsty pagans or people of faith -- educated, by our standards, or otherwise. Individually and collectively, the human race has always been its own most brutal, depraved, and cruel enemy.

    +1 on the challenge to this scumbag being a victim, even of Satan himself. Ultimately, we do what we do, good or bad, because we choose to. The "deceit" of the devil is a rationalization to excuse our own selfishness, plain pure and simple.

    For some reason I'm reminded of a book by Poul Anderson, "The Broken Sword", in which Satan, being reminded of a debt owed for a soul sold many years before, indifferently replies, "Humans never sell their souls. They give them away."
