Should be a fun weather night, NOT!

Supposed to get 5-10 inches of rain in 24 hours with up to 70 mph gust. 200' Redwood trees don't like that kinda weather-[:0]

    The wind right now is pushing 105mph at the summit and 60+ at my house. Everything is starting to flood as well. I haven't seen a storm hit central CA like this in 15 years.

    Well got to go re gas the generator.

    Just looked at our system and down the peninsula we have over 70,000 homes out with something like 460 different outages. That is just a small part of what is going on here.

    Yeah watched the wind kick up this morning while at work in Carmel Valley. Didn't see much rain.

    Now a smart guy in downtown Carmel (they have real strict rules about trimming trees) would've let mother nature (and their SUV and rope) do some land scaping. Chainsaw would've been too obvious (got to be sneaky). To get their "better" view without the tree blocking it.

    I actually watched the wind drive the rain sideways while I was going in to Safeway. Now that was cool.

    With luck the power will remain while I go to sleep soon so the alarm clock will wake me on time for work tonight.

    If the winds are still at it tomorrow I may go to PG to watch the waves crash on the rocks. Might see some spray hit the "million dollar" shacks... I mean houses.

    Just watched the weather channel Lake Tahoe is hammered with the wind as well, at the higher elevations the wind gust were up to 163mph! with blizzard conditions.

    I am glad I am not the mail man right now.[:D]
