Ron Paul for POTUS or bust
I just wanted to see how long this stayed on the General Discussion side of things until the omnipotent Moderators or Administrators move it to Politics.... [;)][:D][:D][:0]

He is right; the constitution is silent on drugs therefore it is a STATES RIGHTS issue.0 -
Hey, you can't be talking about religion, if you expect this to be shipped off to the politics forum.

The war on drugs started during Lynden Johnson's ill-fated regime.
Twenty years before our Greatest President, Ronald WILSON Reagan took office.

Wow [;)][;)] Ron Paul could fix all the ills by leaving us alone to live as we see fit.
You could smoke weed, drive drinking a Bud Light and pee on stop signs at high noon. You would only pay taxes if you sortta felt like it too. It would be legal to tell the IRS to kiss yer behind!0 -

They are outlawed from entering my 3' limit. The penalties range from butt whoopin' to *****, if one my loved ones is harmed by their selfish stupidity.
I have yet to see alcohol make somebody smarter.
Still voting for Ron Paul! Because I love what America is supposed to be.0 -

Alcohol is a drug. A rather dangerous one too from my experience.
We really don't need any more drugs legalized.0 -

Marijuana is safer than any other drug including OTC drugs at the drug store. that's all i want decriminalized not legal, it should be regulated like alcohol but i should be able to grow my own plants. almost a million people put in jail for a plant a year. the safest drug (if you wanna call it a drug) IN AMERICA.0 -
Im not Religious but i always liked this quote.
God made Pot,
Man Made Beer,
Who do you trust?0 -
Do any of y'all smoke dope presently? Or have a friend in prison for growing it?
edit
I'm afraid it's going to be a bust. Some liberal twit will be elected, things will get worse before they get better.0 -

What I love about you pro-legalization folks is that you can't think beyond pot.
Or, it is just okay to legalize the stuff you smoke, but the government should stick its nose into the "harder" stuff.
Pot is a gateway drug. Don't tell me it isn't. I watched my best friend in high school start with pot and fry his brain because the pot wasn't giving him a good enough high anymore.0 -
Gateway drug BS! I bet everyone who shoots heroin drank milk as a kids. That's the real gateway drug, I tell you. Milk should be outlawed! BAN IT!!!!! BEFORE WE ALL KILL OURSELVES!!!!DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN!!!!!!
Sound ridiculous? So does the gateway drug BS. The world would be a better place if weed were legal. If it requires no chemical processing, it should be legal. If it does, it should be regulated.0 -
On a serious note does MJ really help for arthritis and such[?] 0 -

Yeah okay. Pot isn't a gateway drug. That's why kids start experimenting with it and don't move on after the pot no longer gives them the high that they desire.
Just because YOU haven't moved on to harder drugs doesn't change the fact that pot isn't a gateway drug.
And, no, pot doesn't make you smarter or more insightful.
Anyway I thought you were against government interference. Why draw the line at chemical processing?0 -
...True Libertarians believe ANYTHING one can think of, should be legal. ALL traffice laws, speed limits etc, are illegal in a true libertarians eyes, hell, everybody do and act as they want, no biggie.
...Rick _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ a libertarian I knew for over 20 years could even SHOW (several law books) you where requireing Ins. on your truck was NOT legal, speed limits were NOT legal, state tags were NOT legal..blah blah blah blah. The Government should stay out of a LOT of things, but they havn't and wont. I don't know, I saw so called "proof" of these crazy azz things he spoke of, pretty convincing actually, but stupid.
...I do know Rick was/is known to LEO's in Rockwall and Hunt counties for his antics of adhering to this philosophy; tickets, stints in the county/city jails, fines out the wazoo...too numerous to even count. If Nunn does not have first hand experience with this guy, I gaurantee David could talk to some brother LEO's where he works or in Rockwall...and this guys name would be instantly recognized...as he for sure "walks the walk" of a true Libertarian. Of course he pays/paid a high price for being so "smart".
...Yep, pot smoking makes you a real genius, much smarter, sharper when stoned. Some people can drink and never become alcoholics, others can't...some people smoke dope and just become temporarily stupid while others get stuck on stupid.
Maybe legalize it, or maybe require it as a performance enhancer for all proffessionals...say Airline pilots, Surgeons and such. Maybe a few stiff shots of Bourbon would be great before your brain surgery...a few big tokes off a fat one, yeah buddy. Dopeheads always want to legalize that crap, smoke it, eat your brownies with 'em it, and dream on.
...Amsterdam? The parks in Amsterdam are beautiful with the Heroin addicts laying around everywhere for added decoration, shooting up in pulic in front of kids then puking; what a great place...the Euro trash Capital. The liberals there make the ones here look like staunch Conservitives...[;)]

Oh my gosh. You mean you found a study that discovered pot isn't a gateway drug? Imagine the odds...
You can find studies that will show you pretty much anything you want. Or, don't you know that?0 -
By all means, start posting 'em.....I'll be home all day 0 -
