1894cl 32-20
Just aquired a new MArlin 1894 CL in 32-20
Neat little rifle
I own a 38-55 and 45-70 and they are pretty smooth working with not being finicky unless the c.o.l. is to long.
This little rifle seems to like to want to not let the carrier come up when a new cartridge is being loaded. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
Happens about half the time
the loads are starline brass with a Hornady 100gr HP. Starline brass is real short from the factory and the bullet is seated to the crimping grove and crimped

Check the loading gate screw, make sure it is tight. If the gate is loose, the carrier will hit it on the way up. 0
