Mike Iteogu.
I played soccer with Mike in college.
Mike actually was an African American. He was born in Nigeria and fought in the civil war there. He had a scar on his belly from a bullet wound.
Mike got a biology degree, and went on to get a Phd in Pharmacy.
Great soccer player and a smart guy.

have grown up in a small town being politically incorrect by never being in contact with a number of blacks and where now i am told to celebrate on their behalf when i am also told that i must not celebrate an individual President but must have them lumped together with the likes of millard fillmore, herbert hoover & bill clinton..... so in recognition of this fact of the day at hand i will go to my favorite club where also in recognition of the blacks in new orleans screaming for more money i will joyously contribute my small share by donating to my interface with afro-america by generously tipping the pole dancers.........till my money is gone...the banks are closed today 0 -

In red above. Keyes might be trying to be more fair to white America than we realize. From what I see here in the KC metro area, not very many blacks work and pay taxes. So giving them a "tax break" would cost white people little or nothing, since many of them do not work and pay taxes.
Actually might be a clever and cheap way to seem to be giving blacks something but in reality they get nothing for past slavery. Yet they will be happy they got "something" and maybe will shut up about it.0 -

Whether Keyes meant it to be clever or not, it's like another nail in the coffin against ever achieving equality in America. "From what you see?" Well, that must be a scientific sampling then! Do you ask them if they have jobs or do you just assume they don't because you are a racist?
The national unemployment rate among blacks is about 8%. That's not even close to being the majority of blacks in this country. And it's not like racism in employment has gone away. Researchers have done studies that show that resumes with "black" sounding names are less likely to get interviews than resumes with "white" sounding names, even if the resumes are otherwise identical. Employment discrimination still exists, white people still have an unfair advantage whether you will admit it or not.0 -
