I am more than happy with my 42" LCD HDTV!

It has as good of a picture as I will ever need is is nice and compact and can mount on the wall if I want.

I'm still happy with my 31" Sanyo from Wallyworld.

Let me guess, it is a whole 5% better than LCD and only cost 5 times more

Its actually supposed to be better than plasma or LCD ever could, since it uses lasers broken up for colors, so you get any color in the spectrum. Its also supposed to be more reliable, cheaper, and lighter than plasma or LCD. If the technology works out, it'll be so much better than plasmas or LCDs that it won't even be funny

With a new technology coming out, that'll drive the price of the old technology down, and I'll actually be able to afford an LCD 1080p HDTV.

[:D] However, to some of us old folk' it might be a good reminder since reading something for the elevententh time is just like reading it for the first time anyway! [:0]

But will it also play my 8-track tapes?
