That was my 1st thought that scope mount is flat ugly.

For $300 you did good!! The rest of of stock looks really nice and the blueing is in great shape. If you don't plan on using the scope mount just take it off and put 2 small pan head matching screws in the holes to hide them if it looks bad without them. 0 -

I think you did OK, but it was in pretty rough shape. The scope mount and the stock repair don't indicate a lot of careful attention to gun care. I hope I'm wrong. I thought the Canadian Centenial models were a bit nicer quality wood and engraving. Anyway the old Model 94's are great shooters! They've brought down lots of deer![:)] 0 -
