Nice photos. I lived in Colorado and really liked the heavy snows. They went away pretty fast there though.

That's actually the power meter. They set them away from the houses a lot out here...not real sure why, except that the well can have power in case of a house fire...0 -

wow eric! it looks nice, but im glad i dont live there!!ive never ever seen snow that deep in my life!. i dont think i woul;d survive in it...and i know for sure i wouldnt go outside very much in winter if i was there...snow like that here would kill half the population!..and im not joking either,i cant even imagine what it must be like to have to live and worse!, work in cold country like that!..i used to hunt in snow country here in the winter for furs to sell, but 4ft deep was a lot of snow!...if ever you feel the need for a holiday in the southern hemisphere where it is WARM just holler out, you and yours will be made welcome.[;)] 0 -

That's actually their satellite Internet dish. Their TV dish is mounted on the front porch.0 -
We have a winter like this ever 15 years or so just to thin out the transplants. You'll see lots of them faux log homes with 'For Sale' signs on them come spring, mark my words. [:D]

BTW...up here they say it's about every 10-11 years. This winter is definitely going to thin the deer/elk herds...probably affect the moose population as well.0 -
