    I've said all along that Al Queda was leaving Iraq and moving to Afghanistan. Press reports say they are now in Pakistan training for
    a "surge" in Afghanistan, and if that's true you will see more Predators dropping bombs on the idiots.

    Maybe, but it won't have anything to do with this. If he does it will be just chance. If the Republicans were willing to stage such things- like they REALLY got bin Laden 2 years ago and were 'saving' him for the election, or know just where he is and are waiting to swoop in- then we WOULD have found WMDs in Iraq, beyond some spoiled containers of mustard gas. Because we would have planted them to convince people our intelligence was true. That we didn't shows to ME that the government hasn't sunk to wag the dog mentality yet, not ENTIRELY and that we wouldn't pull something like this with bin Laden.

    If we DO get him though, the conspiracy nuts will have a field day.

    Let me be first to say:

    They already have him in custody. They're just waiting for the perfect time to say "we caught him" so that they can use it to their best advantage. Then, like every time there's good news from the Bush administration, the opposition can say again "I question the timing of this development." It always cracks me up.
