Poll: Positive bout life?

MVP
What would you rate your life from birth until now.
I had a rough childhood and several rough years, but all in all
I would rate my life so far an 8 or 9 out of 10[8D].

I hope it is not bad to love life[:)]

    i love life! shockingly enough! i've had some rough times, mostly just dealing with death and abandonment but hey... i'll give myself a 7! if i made more $$ it'd be a 10. money is the only thing i could ask for... everything else has came together nicely.

    First 15 years of my life were very bad, unbearable in fact. From 15 to 31 my situation improved to horrible. Would not live a single day over again. Not even if I were on my death bed. These last 9 years have been pretty cool. Lots of learning and lots of healing. I would say 9 out of 10 from age 31 to present.

    A 9. We were poor when I was a kid but my parents, who were immigrants from very poor countries, thought that they were actually pretty well off. I have had some ups and downs in life and losing my job at Union Oil along with my divorce over 20 years ago brought the life- rating down quite a few notches. Now I have a wonderful wife, own my own business, have two fantastic kids, my health is fine and I have more money than I'll ever live to spend...Better make that a 9.5

    I would like to go back and undo some of the wrongs I have done to people. Kinda like the tv show, Earl.

    I fluctuate between levels four and five of Maslow's pyramid.

    I had a blast as a kid. Worked around the clock for the next 30 years or so and now look back at age 50 and say.... COOL!

    I am happy; looking forward to the last 50 years of my life with eager anticipation.

    As MrBruce says; Age is a high price to pay for maturity.

    Very poor childhood, dumb as crap in my teens, now upper middle age , things are "clearer" now,,,,,but still learning...nambu

    I was at a pretty low point in my life after I discovered I had an unfaithful wife. Now 5 years divorced, I can say that things are very good. I have a good job, own a nice home, drive a nice vehicle, a college graduate, and virtually debt free at 29. The fact that im ready to settle down again but still have trouble with women makes me rate everything about a 7.

    The Good: good career, college grad, making good money, hansome, worldly, lots of guns, own 2 homes @ 29.

    The Bad: Poor childhood, family far away, no children, unhappy marriage, retirement funds have taken a big hit the past 2 quarters,

    The Ugly: I am my own worst enemy, too many good looking women in the world.

    my life has been pretty much the bucket that you kick after you spit, but I'm still trying to get better so seven on the wreckter scale.

    The reason I asked was because yesterday as I was walking down a long flight of stairs the saying "Lifes a Beach and then you Die" kept playing in my head so I reflected on my life and graded it a 9.

    Even all the bad times of my life, and I have had a large helping of bad times, life in general has been really fun for me.

    It took me a while to get on track (about 20 years) but now I'm enjoying just about everything to the MAX! God is sooooo good. 9.995 out of 10!
