speaking of wolfs
OK, so you're a late season bow hunter in Minnesota, in your tree stand, and hear a commotion. You only brought your bow. Four hours and 40 pictures later you finally get you're chance to safely(?) depart. Seven wolves, one moose and one lucky hunter that he wasn't the main course!

maybe, maybe not. i do know that in places like idaho and montana there are people who spend alot of time among the wolves and describe them as one of the least threatening animals towards humans. personally i like wolves. i would probably feel different if they were killing my cows everyday but i do like them and they are dangerous towards humans0 -

I live in MT and my mother vividly recalls (as a child) visiting friends on a nearby ranch and having one of the children drug off and killed by a wolf. That being said; I contend that wolves by nature are deathly afraid of man and every instance where I have seen one it was making a hasty retreat away from me. There are 130 tags proposed by the very panel of scientists put incharge of their reintroduction. We have to accept that once again(wrong as many feel it is)wolves are a part of our landscape and we must manage them to minimize their impacts to hunters, ranchers and other predators 0 -

A couple years back the local radio Dj was talking about the how the wolves were being reintroduced and how people were complaining that the wolves would kill all of the animals. Moose were the animals of choice that he brought up during his talk on the radio.
"Have any of you people out there ever seen a moose in real life?.... There HUGE!... There one of the biggest wild animals in america.
Wolfs are just wild dogs..... There is no way in the world that a wolf can kill a moose.... Its impossible!
I don't see what you people are worried about!"
Needless to say, He received many phone calls that day(including one from me!) to try and convince him otherwise.
He never did go back on the radio to correct what he said.

2 years ago in northern MN saw something simular, only it was one wolf and a spike buck. Ended up right in front of me. I made noise, the wolf ran off and I shot the buck. (rifle season.) The wolf had the buck by the face and was taking it down. Alot of people say they would've shot the wolf, but it's still illegal there, and I'd be the one to get caught. 0 -
I would shoot every one of those mangy meanies just like I do to coyotes and foxes. Shot on site. 0 -
