For us who spend time in the Big Lonely, or anywhere else where there is absolutely no/no chance of cell coverage ... check this out! $150 out the door/$99 year!

A friend just brought one back from the CES, Las Vegas. Been playing with it all morning.

  This is a cool device but it doesn't exactly turn your cell phone into a sat phone.

  It's not a cell phone, it's a becon sending device to send either an OK message, a current location, a non-emergency call for help, or an emergency call for help. Response it to the location the device identifies as your current location.
