    They and the Kel-Tec P3AT are both good guns. You have to shoot them for a while to get them to feed well, either that or do a little hand polishing on the feed ramp to smooth it up.

    Yep, I have the P3AT in .380 ACP. It is a good little gun, carries well (I added the laser to it) and functions flawlessly after I smoothed up the feed ramp with a pencil eraser. I had the Kel-Tec P-32 in .32 ACP before, and it was just as good. I also have the Kel-Tec P-40 (discontinued) and the P-11. Bigger guns, but no problems what so ever.

    I second Dannys' opinion.

    My P3AT is a dandy. I dislike only one thing...it pinches my finger on recoil.

    Only had one other fat-fingered person complain about that..every woman and girl that ever shot mine loved it.

    Pinched fingers or not..I trust it to do what it is supposed to do..and it is a faithful companion.

    Around here, they go for 225-250 bucks.

    Mine did that and I reworked the shape of the trigger guard with a heat gun. Fixed it!

    I just traded in a Taurus Millenium Pro 140 for an XD40 SC. I have nothing but good things to say about that Taurus. I never had one malfunction and it was accurate. Ate everything that I fed it without a jam. It does have a long trigger though. The only reason I traded it in was that I've been wanting an XD since they came out and I got a real good deal on it. Didn't need two SC .40's.

    By GLORY !! I started to do that..and the guard looked like it was going to just shrivel up !!

    Took it apart (removed the frame from the grip) and put the grip in the oven on warm. Got it warm to the touch, then slowly worked on just the trigger guard with the heat gun, not holding it on the plastic for long, but using sweeping motions. I used some bending pliers I had and just kept pressure on it until it started to streach. Resmoothed the plastic with sand paper and I had plenty of fat finger room.

    Remember Judge Colt? He put me on to it with the P-32. Worked great as long as to don't get too heavy on the direct heat.

    I didn't think of preheating the thing.

    That may be the magic I seek. Odd thing...that upwards curve right where your finger sweeps.

    Wonder who is responsible for THAT abortion ?

    Thanks much...since I know now that that plastic will work successfully...I will try again.

    Only gripe I have with it.
