You Northerners Stink....................

Sending this wonderful weather to Florida!
It is 40 degrees here now, with NNW winds at 20 to 25 MPH.
Supposed to be in the mid teens tonight, and if the wind doesn't drop, that will result in some serious wind chill factors.

    Obviously I am joking,........but some of you guys don't realize how cold it can get here because of the humidity.
    I have been in Denver when it was 15 degrees, and it didn't feel as cold as it does here right now.
    When the "wet cold" hits your bones, it really gets you.
    Coldest I remember here was up in Gainesville around 1996,......high winds and humidity.
    I don't recall the actual temp, but with the wind chill, and humidity figured in, it was around 5 below zero.
    Was on a restaurant roof working at dawn, and I had trouble using my hand tools.
    Can't imagine that in Central Florida I am sure!

    It's all relative. I started shivering in Iraq when it got below 80. I grew up in Cleveland, went to college in Florida, and have fought in every clime and place where I could take a gun. Right now, I'm in Indiana, freezing my bojangles off. This morning it was 2 degrees.

    I don't know what is worse, cold+humidity or just COLD I don't whine to much, here cold is a given. All I know it's cold when the hair on my face in my nose freezes instanly upon me leaving the house.

    I'd invite you to gunnison for a beer but mine all froze while on the porch in garage!! not cold here at all, no sir its a friggin heat wave

    Only -5 here tonight. That's warmer than average for this time of year. I can remember rifle hunting in -20 temps around Thankgiving. This balmy weather is great![;)]

    I am simply going from my experience!
    I have been to Colorado, and numerous places in the NE during the winter.
    I remember a few times stopping in Mt. Airy Virginia, with snow everywhere, and I was in shorts, and a polo shirt.
    I could hear the "locals" making comments as I was paying for gas.
    They saw Florida plates, and needless to say, the comments did not paint me as Einstein![:D]
    Something is different here when it gets really cold, which is rare!

    DAING I HAVE MY COLD WEATHER GEAR ON THAT I USED OFF SHORE,

    only had to break this stuff out when hunting up north

    Thats not cold at all, Thats just a nice fall day![:D][:D][:D]

    Should have been up here a few years back. It was right about this time of year. We had over 20' high drifts, It was -15 outside, and the wind was blowing at +70 mph, Which gave us wind chills of about -40[:0]

    and the worst part about it was that instead of staying inside infront of the fire wear it was nice and warm, I had to go and find the cattle, feed them, break water for them, Then go do the same for the horses, and the same for the chickens before i could go back inside---- NOW THAT WAS COLD!!![xx(]

    It was 36 BELOW just down the road from you, wasn't it?
    Now you are only getting down to 26-27 BELOW.

    I will take the weather any day...as a matter of fact,

    Its NOT Bush's fault...ITS MY FAULT...

    I asked for it...LOL....I hate the hot weather over the holidays...its not right to have the air conditioner on, and ppl running round in shorts over christmas and new years....I was tired of the hot weather, and wanted snow...If I couldnt have snow I wanted it cold...so if you dont like it, leave...LOL
