Anybody watching the news?

Some nut was arrested walking down the street in D.C. with a shotgun. Ok, nothing unusual there but they just announced that it is MUCH WORSE than first reported. He had a TACTICAL vest, a BOW & ARROW, and a SAMURI sword!

    It was probably just a fishing vest. Which in media terminology
    translates to "military style tactical assault vest".

    That actually is worse from the standpoint of the poor guy who's shaking the bushes looking for him. From the sounds of it you're very possibly going to confront someone with an altered state of reality, which means all bets are off.

    They nabbed him pretty quick. I don't think he made it far after he got out of his truck.

    FNC was reporting shotgun and rifle interchangeably, which I thought was pretty funny. Apparently somebody doesn't know the difference.

    I wonder why he was doing this? People shouldn't off the top of their head beleive he was some nutcase. There might of been other reasons. Some of them alot of the people around here speak of quite often.

    As a matter of fact I heard that on the XM this afternoon. It was good ol Shepard Smith on the FOX New Channel. He has to be one of the most ignorant news readers on TV, if not the most ignorant. There is nothing he can't exaggerate. A short while after that he decided it was a sawed-off shotgun.

    I enjoy his shows. He almost always says something stupid to give you a good laugh. Last night he was interviewing one of the Sheriff's people in South Carolina and he mentioned that he couldn't find the Corporal's wife so she must be in hiding. The Sheriff's representative told Smith he had talked to her that afternoon and had an appointment to see her in the morning. Smith said he would send one of his people over to get her location. Sheriff's rep laughed in Smith's face. Didn't faze him at all.

    What could be more dangerous than a man in a tactical vest? 028.gifrofl.gif

    Smooth planning and highly organized behavior there.

    He then parked his vehicle some distance away and was observed strolling down a busy street in broad daylight while carrying a shotgun, a crossbow and wearing a "tactical vest" with a Samurai sword strapped across his back.

    He sees nothing illogical in this behavior and thinks no one should key in on him.

    I'm going to go out on a limb here and say he probably has mental health issues.
