Sounds like the supossed law I've heard about since I was a kid which says (we are told) that you cannot drive a car while barefoot.0 -

I don't know about the other states, but only two of those Texas laws are true.
It's illegal to keep an alligator as a pet anywhere in Texas due to state law. It's a game animal and can't be kept in captivity without a special permit from Tx. Parks & Wildlife.
The reason camels are specifically mentioned in Galveston's ordinance is back in the 1800's camels were imported for use out in the west Texas desert. Galveston was the primary port for Texas back then and these being allowed to graze near the docks became a problem.0
